My Dad was a small business owner for over 40 years and he once told me there was only one rule to run a successful business: simply treat others the way you would want to be treated. While, this may be a cliché, or over-simplification of business, for me this pertains to not only relationships with my clients, but the relationship I have with the ecosystems that I work on. It always has been, and always will be my desire to treat my clients, as well as the earth with this in mind.
